First Day of the Challenge!

OK everyone, game on! This morning please post whatever you're comfortable with, either your starting weight and goal, or just your goal.

Current weight: 150.0 lbs.
Goal weight: 130.0 lbs.

My biggest challenges in this: I'll be in Russia from Nov 20-Dec 1 and have little to no control over what we'll eat. Yikes! There's no exercise there either, so that'll be 20% of the contest that I'll have to play completely by ear. Not fun! But, this is something I want, so I'm going to work for it.

My ultimate goal: To get comfortable in my body again. I was maintaining 133 lbs. without a huge amount of work, but after the miscarriage, I haven't been able to get the rest of the weight off. I'd like to lose the weight before I get pregnant again, as I REALLY never want to see 200 lbs. on a scale again!

Current Weight: 173
Goal: 155

As a female member of Heather's family, the lot of us hasn't had the easiest genes to contend with. My heaviest was 260 probably 7 years ago and I brought that down to 185. Then another baby and life, I gained and lost, gained and lost. I've been in the 170's now for a year and want to see the 150s.

I'll be gone for part of the challenge too, at the end but I'll try to stick with it, being in Mexico I tend to get a little kooky about eating.

Current weight: 198
Goal weight: 180

I have struggled with my weight ever since I went to college. It seems I go up and down on the scale quite regularly... but more often, I go up. Considering I weighed 180 just 3 short months ago, I'd say I've been doing bad about eating and exercising lately!

It always seems to happen to me when I start a new school year. I gain from August--December, then freak out, then lose from January--May-ish. I'd really like not to continue this trend through December as I am entirely too close to the 200 pound marker again!!!

Of course, 180 pounds is not my overall goal for long-term purposes... but it works for this 8 week time period.

Ok. I finally got home and can post. My starting weight is 145. I am aiming for 130 but I really do think that is too much. I would be happy with 135. We shall see. It has been extremely hard for me to lose 2lbs a week since I am near the end but what are challenges for except to push us. Good luck!

Goal weight: 140

I have a 4 week old baby and REALLY want to get this weight off! I worked out my whole pregnancy so I'm hoping it will be a little bit easier this time. I guess we will see!

I'm late at posting, but my starting/Friday weight is 173. My goal is 158 for now with a final goal of 148 after the first of the year.
Right now I weigh the most I ever have non-pregnant except right after I got married and quit smoking cigarettes (at the same point in time). I'm disappointed in myself so much, but just don't seem to care or have alot of motivation as everyone says I look fine. I just don't feel fine.
On another note you might get more exercise in Russia than you bargain on... walking most places, as I've always done in Europe gets you more exercise than you expect... my problem is that I always want to eat more....
